Water may enter into the rearview camera, which can cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display or display a distorted image.
Remedy:
Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed February 13, 2025. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 201, “Occupant Protection in Interior Impact.”
Remedy:
