| 2022-03-10 | EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS | General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2022 GMC Hummer EV vehicles. Taillight software can cause one or both rear taillights to become inoperative, or remain fully or partially illuminated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace as necessary, the left and/or right rear taillight assemblies. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 25, 2022. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM’s number for this recall is N222359830. |
