2022-06-23 | ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM):SOFTWARE | Honda (American Honda Motor Co) is recalling certain 2020-2022 GL1800 Gold Wing motorcycles equipped with manual transmissions. An ignition timing software error for the engine control unit (ECU) may reduce engine performance, which can result in an engine stall.
Remedy:
Dealers will update the ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 20, 2022. Owners may contact American Honda Motor Co customer service at 1-866-784-1870. |
