2003 DAEWOO Lanos

In July of 2011 my Dodge Ram 1500 SLT’s dash began to crack and I took it in to a dealership in Everett, Washington, where I was stationed at the time, for possible manufacturer’s repair. I was told that even though this was a well known manufacturer’s defect that Dodge would not cover the cost of the repair and the replacement part at the time was around 1600 dollars not covering the cost of install. My dash has since continued to crack but not to the point where it has begun to fall apart. However with the latest recall for repair/replacement of the passenger airbag assembly my dash will be destroyed and I will be required to purchase a new dash which is complete bull as this is a well know safety issue with dodge Trucks.
