| 1970-01-01 | POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:GEAR POSITION INDICATION (PRNDL) | Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2025 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery Sport, and 2026 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. Moisture may have entered the gear shift module (GSM) during assembly, which can cause the gear shift position indicator light to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, “Controls and Displays.”
Remedy:
Dealers will replace the GSM, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed December 12, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover’s customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover’s number for this recall is D054. |
