DOM: 5/07-4/08. On rigid latch-loc car seats and stand alone bases, incorrect steel was used on latch connector locking pawl. Latch connector locking pawl can crack allowing child safety seat base to detach from vehicle’s latch anchors during crash. This can result in seat failing to provide protection for occupant. Correct by replacing base.

On folding camping trailer winch installed as original equipment for use on recreational vehicles, incorrect material was used in manufacture of cable shafts on some units. While top is being lifted, if winch is placed into stall condition, cable shaft may break prior to fuse or circuit breaker tripping. Should cable shaft break, top could free-fall into lower position, resulting in injuries. Correct by repairing winch.
