Silver Spring Pedestrian Dies 2 Months After Accident

SILVER SPRING, MD — An elderly Silver Spring man died Sunday from injuries he suffered two months ago when he was struck by a car while walking across a street, authorities say.

The victim was identified Monday as Patrick Yip Yang, 82, of the 2000 block of Aventurine Way in Silver Spring.

Montgomery County Police say the fatal accident happened just after 7 p.m. on East Randolph Road at Serpentine Way.
